Sculpture as the meeting of weight and light — forged from matter, shaped by what falls upon it.
Light2Matter is the studio practice of a sculptor working in steel, bronze, and patinated metals. Each work begins as a question of gravity and ends as a study of the way illumination dresses, hides, and reveals a form.
Works are produced slowly and in small numbers, by direct hand. Pieces are exhibited and placed within private and institutional collections by appointment.
