The Courage Totem

The Moment:

Late December 2022, summer just arrived to Lima. On one of our many excursions to El Silencio beach, Albertito for the first time went full head on into the ocean, without any drop of fear. We captured this image from him running as he left the water.

The Totem

This moment was very special to us, we work hard for every little victory, so we decided to build The Courage Totem to celebrate it, share it with you and never forget the moment.

The Details

We used red and blue laser-cut acrylic sheets of 1.5mm, red symbolizing the love within and blue for the growth. Red is contraction, blue is expansion. This Totem is put together with simple but elegant stainless steel hardware ad 3D printed spacers. Soon enough Albertito will be helping us assembling them for you. It measures 22 inches tall, 10 inches wide and 3 inches deep.

Woodent Lightbox

All Totems from the Walk project include a lightbox made of cedar. a 3mm clear acrylic top, a light socket for regular light bulbs, a black cable and a blackplug.
