The Equinox Light Totem

I sold my first light sculpture back in 2016.

I remember I was playing bowling one night and got a ping on my cell.

How can I forget that moment.

I still talk to that gent. We’re sort of penpals now. We talk about important stuff. He advises me. I hear him out.

Back then he was not a friend, not a family member… If anything, I would’ve never guessed someone like him would be into my work.

That inflection point changed my life. It created a new branch from which many other branches grew and God only knows what lies ahead.

Everytime I ship a lamp I get that feeling.

The feeling my life is about to get richer.

The feeling someone will be reading a book under my lights.

A couple will kiss under it for the first time.

Families will gather and friends will make peace.

An Equinox Light Totem is going away to meet his fate.

Safe travels my sweetest love,
Bring strength to those in need,
Bring light to those who’ve lost it,
Bring as many moments as you can.

Truth is,
you are me as much as I am you
